None of us should just keep our heads down. That many do is so disheartening. Those who don’t are a beacon to others: we might feel alone, we may get shouted down or cancelled or whatever - but we are NOT alone. Keeping our heads up and our mind sharp is so important.

I feel like everyone is (rightly) fixated on 1984, but that creepy female singing about censorship and wrongthink made me immediately think of that horrifying, pink wearing, authoritarian from HP. And yes, I'm a trained biologist/ecologist/geologist so I know she's a female lol.
No, don't keep your head down. Shout back, and loudly. The only thing these would-be tyrants cannot handle is non-compliance. They see people as mindless sheep, and their plans require it. Every time we resist, they are surprised and confused and helpless.
Funnily enough, it was my interest in nutrition (specifically low carb) and how it differed from public health advice that kind of led me down the path of ‘covid skepticism’. People like yourself, Gary Taubes and others helped me to understand just how much of the messaging in this area has contributed to declining public health in the last 50 years, and how much of what we are led to believe is THE SCIENCE in this area is just total bollocks. The tactics used to move us away from fat towards carbohydrates has just been rinsed and reused with covid. Use friendly talking heads in the media, control research dollars to studies that will never question the narrative and stamp down on dissent by all means possible. Keep up the good work, keep trying to educate people and keep trying to open people’s eyes to the fact that what they are being relentlessly force fed is not always in their best interests

It‘s comical to me, that this new minister is a Harry Potter fan (she was a member of one of those wizard rock bands) and does not realize that she has been put into the same position as one of the most evil characters of the whole series.
The new minister of misinformation is a Karen of the worst sort. She won't to stop me from eating my local grass fed regeneratively raised ribeyes. Hope she enjoys her lab meat!
